What 888starz is and who runs it
888starz is an international platform for sports betting and casino games launched in 2020. The site is operated by Bittech B.V., a company registered in Curaçao (registration number 153870), under licence OGL/2024/665/0201. In six years the platform has gathered over 400,000 registered users, and the interface is translated into several dozen languages including Russian and English.
For a player this means two things. First: the operator has regulations that set out payout deadlines, bonus rules and verification procedures — you can refer to them in a dispute. Second: the licence is international rather than Uzbek, so the legality of gambling remains the player’s own responsibility.
Sports betting: pre-match, live, esports
The core of 888starz is the bookmaker line. It carries over a thousand events every day, and a popular match gets around 30 markets on average: outcomes, totals, handicaps, player statistics. Football ranges from the Champions League and Europe’s top five leagues to local championships; there are separate sections for tennis, ice hockey, basketball, volleyball, cricket and UFC.
The live section works with the same markets while the match is on. The app is more convenient for live betting: odds update faster and the bet slip opens with one tap. Esports and virtual sports have their own line sections and take part in the general sports promotions.
Bets are settled under the operator’s betting rules. One clause is worth knowing in advance: in the event of technical errors, obviously incorrect odds or bets placed after the outcome became known, the operator reserves the right to recalculate or void the bet — a standard clause for licensed bookmakers.
Casino, 888Games and live games
The gaming side is split into several sections: slots, live casino with dealers, bingo, TV games and the platform’s own 888Games section — quick games such as Lucky Wheel, Crash, roulettes, Derby Racing, Spin and Win. 888Games has its own promo on Wednesdays, and winnings in the section’s tournaments carry no wagering.
The casino has a weekly cashback: every seven days 10% of the previous week’s losses in the Casino section is returned to the account. There is also an eight-level loyalty programme — from bronze upwards, with growing cashback and personal support at the top tiers.
888starz for players from Uzbekistan
The main difference from grey-market sites is the local cashier. The account currency is chosen at registration, and soum (UZS) is available for Uzbekistan. The country’s cashier offers Humo cards (deposits from 10,000 UZS), Uzcard / Humo (P2P) transfers from 30,000 UZS, the Payme wallet from 30,000 UZS, international Visa and MasterCard, and several dozen cryptocurrencies — USDT on various networks, Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin, TRON. All methods are credited instantly with no operator fee.
For deposits via Humo or Uzcard the operator adds a 25% bonus on the deposit amount — once a day, wagered with accumulators. Check the terms and limits on the promo page in your account: in the rules they are shown converted to the account currency.
Withdrawals are made in the same cashier section. The regulations give the operator up to two days to review a request, and winnings above 10,000 EUR trigger an extended check. The rules require using only your own payment instruments — a card or wallet in your name.
Bonuses for new and existing players
At registration the player chooses one of two tracks:
- Welcome Sport 200% — bonuses on the first four deposits: 100%, 50%, 25% and 25% of the amount, up to 100 EUR each. Minimum deposit — the equivalent of 1 EUR in the account currency. Wagering — five times in accumulators of three or more events with odds of at least 1.4.
- Welcome Casino 200% + 150 FS — activates on a first deposit from 10 EUR; the following bonuses in the package (deposits two to five) unlock only after the previous one is wagered.
Existing players get reloads: 50% on sport up to 100 EUR on Tuesdays, 100% up to 100 EUR on Thursdays, 100% on casino up to 300 EUR on Sundays. Tuesdays also bring a 3% cashback on lost sports bets with odds from 1.5 — minimum 1 EUR, maximum 900 EUR. Plus a birthday bonus, free bets for wagers placed in the app, and the “New Heights Aviator” promo with free launches on Mondays.
The common rule for all promos: the profile must be filled in, phone and e-mail confirmed, and consent to bonuses ticked in account settings before depositing. Bonuses are not credited on crypto deposits.
Website, mobile version and app
You can play three ways: on the desktop site, in the mobile version in your phone’s browser, and in the app. Apps are released for Android and iOS; the Android version is downloaded from the operator’s mobile site as an APK — the operator notes that you need to allow downloads from external sources before installing. The app opens sections faster than the site and can send push notifications about promos and bet settlement.
The account is shared: one login works on the site, in the mobile version and in the app, with balance and bet history in sync. How to install the app on Android and iPhone is covered step by step on the download page — including the desktop version.
Who 888starz suits
888starz makes sense if you want an account in soums without conversion, instant deposits from Humo or Uzcard and a wide line with live. The sports welcome package is one of the largest by number of deposits, and the weekly cashbacks cover both sport and casino.
The downsides are worth weighing too: bonus amounts are set in euros, the Android app is installed manually, and the operator may request documents before the first withdrawal. If you plan to play regularly, install the app and enable two-factor protection — we have a separate guide to signing in and recovering access. To play online without installing anything, use the browser version.
